4 Ad Features Are Very Effective For Target Consumers
Rabu, 27 Desember 2017
Currently, digital
advertising is a lot of work, and modern customers are constantly changing, so
it's not surprising that the industry's overall click-through rate is no more
than .06 percent.
In other words, the number
means that only one of the 1,667 display ads is clicked. But do not despair!
Targeting people who have previously interacted with your business will likely
generate clicks, as opposed to targeting those unfamiliar with your brand. And
to do so, you must learn about retargeting. While there are many advanced
retargeting strategies available, there are four online media that can not be
missed entrepreneur: display, social media, email and paid search. Let's look
at one by one, along with the basic steps in creating a campaign.
4 Ad Features Are Very Effective For Target Consumers
1. Display retargeting
Ads with images or text are
found in many banners - placed all over the internet. Specifically, ads are
triggered when you visit certain web pages that have been coded with a
"pixel." So when you visit ModCloth.com to get a dress, chances are you'll
see the banner for the latest summer collection in the next few weeks.
ModCloth knows that the
majority of people who are browsing the dress categories have a higher purchase
intention rate than the general population or even dress-shopping population in
general. Combine with the right brand recognition and timing, you get the right
strategy to generate a conversion.
Major retailers such as
Nordstrom and Zappos make use of this way by using dynamic retargeting ads,
which use Flash or HTML5 to showcase specific products that users have searched
for on their sites.
So how do you run display
ads? So far the Google Display Network (usually obtained through AdWords) is
the most common platform, as it is easy to use and affordable, compared to
larger companies. You can also get real-time bidding platforms like Simpli.fi.
2. Social Retargeting
Social retargeting can be an
easy way to reach your buyers where they spend the majority of their digital
lives, but do not be confused with language changes from one platform to
another.
For example, Facebook offers
a retargeting feature called "Custom Audiences." Just enter the
tracking code on your site - or better upload your email marketing list - and
Facebook will display your ads to users who are familiar with your brand. easy
as that. With an email, Facebook ads can follow visitors through various
devices. With pixels, you can display ads in front of someone who is using the
same computer but has not visited your site yet.
Not enough just with
Facebook. Youtube, Twitter, and some other major social media also have
retargeting solutions for advertisers. Find out which social media your
audience is taking and focus on the platform.
3. Email Retargeting
Retargeting email, like all
email marketing, becomes an easy decision to take. You can start by sending
messages to people who have recently (or have not) visited your online store.
Continue by adding behavior that may include viewers related to checkout, such
as inserting a cart with a product or filling out a submission form, then being
ignored.
As long as you have a user
email - via user login, site form or host user tracking services - you can set
up auto messages a few days later to remind people leaving their carts.
Sometimes, simple phrases
like "Hey, do you want to do this?" Simply get the user back to your
site. Otherwise, offers like "free shipping for a limited time" can
guarantee they will complete the transaction.
4. Paid Search Retargeting
Although paid search is
technically only the form of display advertising, the application is very
different. This channel may be a bit more complicated than the previous three
channels, but if you're used to AdWords, it's a great way - and often underutilized
- to reach potential customers.
Remarketing Lists In Search
Ads (RLSA) on Google can display text-based ads to Google users who have
visited your site. It may seem less useful, but the service can make marketers
target search terms that are profitable in a particular context.
For example, bidding for all
"spring outfits" search might not work for your clothing store. But
targeting only the segmentation of buyers who have visited your website (and
arguably your brand) is more likely to generate sales. But it does not matter
how deep or how you execute, do not forget the opportunity to put the most
effective ads in front of your buyers.
